Online Giving FAQs
What information do I need for my taxes?
To claim a gift as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, you will need an official receipt of your gift. For gifts made to Coulee Rock Church through Stripe, the receipt will be emailed to you once your gift is complete. Print the emailed receipt and keep it as your official receipt for your taxes.
Important: Gifts made to Coulee Rock through Stripe will not appear on your church year-end giving statement.
Which company does Coulee Rock use to process online giving?
Stripe
Do I need to have an account with Stripe to give to Coulee Rock?
No, you are not required to have a Stripe account in order to give online. Simply fill out the secure form using your Credit/Debit card information.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Your gift is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Print the emailed receipt and keep it as your official receipt for your taxes.
Is there a minimum donation amount?
Yes. Your donation must be a minimum of $10 to be processed through Stripe.
I didn’t receive an email confirming my transaction. How do I know it was processed?
You may want to first check your email spam filters in case your email client thought it was spam. You may also contact Stripe directly. If that doesn’t work you may email the church bookkeeper at finance@couleerock.com (please note this is a part-time position & responses to this email may take several days).
