Coulee Rock Prayer Priorities

Coulee Rock Prayer Priorities

UNITY

There is something supernatural, something that points to God in unique ways when His people live together in unity. Please pray for Coulee Rock to be a people of unity.

May they all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us, so that the world may believe you sent me.
John 17:21 (CSB)

CHURCH LEADERSHIP

Pray for God to raise up another pastor for Coulee Rock & continue to grow & deepen our church leadership team. I’m convinced when the leadership team is healthy & the responsibilities of serving God in the church are spread out to faithful leaders the Word of God spreads! We see this in Acts 6 after the first Deacons are established & the very next verse tells us the “the Word of God spread”

So the word of God spread, the disciples in Jerusalem increased greatly in number, and a large group of priests became obedient to the faith.
Acts 6:7 (CBS)

WORKERS/DISCIPLES

Pray for workers. I believe with all my heart God’s church is His chosen avenue to draw people to Him & to disciple people in Him. As Jesus tells us in Luke 10 the work is great, the harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. We have prayed for years that God would bless Coulee Rock with disciples who are workers & workers who become disciples.

He [Jesus] told them, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.
Luke 10:2 (CSB)

GROWTH AS DISCIPLES OF GOD

Pray we would all grow as disciples of Christ so that we may be presented mature in Christ. Pray we will, as a church, be a people of prayer, a people of the Word, people with a heart to see our neighbors understand the love of God for the whole world. Pray each of us would grow in our relationship with God.

We proclaim him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.
Colossians 1:28 (CSB)

PREACHING OF GOD’S WORD

Pray God’s Word would continue to be proclaimed faithfully & boldly at Coulee Rock. Pray for Pastor Peter & all who speak at Coulee Rock to humbly present the Word of God knowing “God’s Word does not return empty.” It is the proclamation of the Word that God has used to draw men & women to Him throughout history. Please pray the Word will go out from Coulee Rock & lives will change for the glory of God.

For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return there without saturating the earth and making it germinate and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat, so my word that comes from my mouth will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.”
Isaiah 55:10-11 (CSB)
because you have been born again—not of perishable seed but of imperishable—through the living and enduring word of God... And this word is the gospel that was proclaimed to you.
1 Peter 1:23, 25b (CSB)

HOLINESS

Pray we, as a family of disciples, would be moved by the love of God to align our live to the rhythm of God. Ask God to convict us so deeply of our sinfulness & need for a Savior that the truth of Jesus’ death & resurrection ignites a passion to live holy lives. Moved by the truth that this same God of love has called us to His holy standard.

for it is written, Be holy, because I am holy.
1 Peter 1:16 (CSB)

GOD WILL CONTINUE TO BLESS HIS CHURCH AT COULEE ROCK

Pray God will continue to bless His Church at Coulee Rock. Pray we will continue to see new people joining our church family. Pray for the finances of the church, for God to continue to bless & bring the whole tithe into the storehouse. Pray for all the logistics required to operate a house of worship for God.

“Teacher, which command in the law is the greatest?”
He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.”
Matthew 22:36-40 (CSB)
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20 (CSB)
Bring the full tenth into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house. Test me in this way,” says the LORD of Armies. “See if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing for you without measure.
Malachi 3:10 (CSB)
