What to Expect

Our service are intentionally a simple, relaxed, welcoming time where we come together to experience God. You are invited to join us each week for our 10am service.

Our Sunday services are relaxed and very relational. Come and enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate before the service. Our services last about an hour and fifteen minutes. We intentionally make every aspect of our time focus on Jesus and the power of the Gospel. Since you may find yourself meeting new people and wanting to chat, you’ll probably want to plan for an hour and a half. Our messages are typically part of a series going through a book of the Bible. They are theologically rich and culturally relevant taking the timeless truths of God’s Word & bringing them to bear on our everyday lives.

HOW DOES A TYPICAL SUNDAY SERVICE GO?

We start by singing a few songs (feel free to sing along or just listen!). After some quick announcements, we’ll hear a message from the Bible, and we will end by singing a few more songs.

WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU SING?

Our dedicated Worship team plays a variety of modern worship music and updated hymns. We try to make our time of singing together truly Christ-focused and powerful. Music has always been a important part of Coulee Rock’s worship.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Our services are casual, so wear what you’re comfortable in and you’ll fit right in.

IS THERE ANYTHING FOR MY KIDS?

Yes, We are passionate about loving and caring for the Coulee Rock kids. We want to provide your child a safe, fun, Christ-centered place to learn and grow during our Sunday Service. We offer a Nursery for children 6-months through 2-years (6-36months). We offer three Sunday School classes broken up by age for Children 3-years-old through 5th grade. Each of our services begin with a few worship songs. Bring your child with you to the beginning of the service and then after the opening music, we’ll dismiss the Sunday School classes. You can check you children in before the service or during this dismissal time.

HOW DO I CHECK-IN MY CHILD FOR NURSERY OR SUNDAY SCHOOL?

For the safety of your child and your own peace of mind, we use a child check-in system for our Nursery and Sunday School classes. You’ll find a volunteer standing near the check-in stations to assist you if you have questions.

You’ll fill out your child’s information on the sign-in sheet and your child will be assigned a number. A sticker with your child’s name and number will be placed on your child’s back and belongings. You will then get a pager that matches the number assigned to your child. During the service, we will page you if you are needed.

After the service, you pick-up your child by returning the pager that matches your child’s number. This helps ensure each child is leaving with the adult responsible for them.

ARE THERE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR NURSING MOMS?

Yes, you’ll find a quiet and comfortable nursing mom’s room located in the women’s rest room. We understand taking an infant to church can be a challenge and we want to make it as easy as possible. Feel free to use this room where you can watch the service and care for your baby.
